On 15 October 2025, the Tawila Unit, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, launched a one-week programme to distribute multipurpose cash grants to the most vulnerable groups of displaced persons in the locality.
The programme targets 10,000 families and involves 20 volunteers.
The programme has been widely praised by beneficiaries and local authorities, who emphasised that it came at an exceptional time, particularly in terms of providing cash to meet daily needs. We hope that the programme will be expanded to cover more displaced persons.
