The Sudanese Red Crescent Society - Khartoum State Branch conducts home visits to support the cholera vaccination campaign.

The ongoing efforts of volunteers from the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS), Khartoum State branch, have contributed significantly to mitigating the severity and spread of cholera. In this regard, the Society, through its local supervisory office in Ombada locality, and in cooperation with the World Health Organization, has conducted home visits to monitor the progress of the cholera vaccination campaign.

Ten volunteers from the SRCS participated in the campaign, conducting field visits to a number of homes to ensure that vaccines were delivered to citizens and providing health awareness and guidance on disease prevention.

This step supports the Ministry of Health and its partners' efforts to promote community health and limit the spread of epidemics by working directly with citizens within neighborhoods and local communities.
