The Sudanese Red Crescent Society, Khartoum State Branch, continued its humanitarian interventions for the third day in a row in the field of providing food to those affected by the war in Darfur and Kordofan states. With the support of the Turkish Red Crescent, the association implemented a program , to distribute food baskets targeting 350 Family's in Um- Badah locality, including squares 7, 12, 38, 51, and 72 in the North Peace Unit.
The food baskets contained basic materials (flour, lentils, oil, rice, yogurt, and tea), and the distribution process was carried out with the participation of six Sudanese Red Crescent volunteers.
This initiative comes as part of joint humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the burden of living on the affected families and promoting the values of community solidarity in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.
