SRCS in White Nile State provided urgent emergency services to those suffering from cholera

In continuation of its humanitarian work, the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) in White Nile State, through its volunteers, provided urgent emergency services to those suffering from cholera in Kosti locality, through 100 volunteers in the nursing and health promotion teams, psychosocial support, water and environmental sanitation, in addition to installing tents in the isolation center.

Also, SRCS sterilized the isolation center at Kosti Hospital, distributed 400 pieces of soap, and distributed health education messages to cholera patients, in addition to providing 6 boxes of masks and gloves.

During their visit to Kosti Hospital, the head of the emergency health at the SRCS, White Nile state, the head of the Water and Environmental Sanitation and the communication and dissemination officer at the branch held a meeting with the heads of the teams working at the Isolation Center to coordinate the implementation of different activities at the center.

It is worth noting that the SRCS in White Nile state has established an emergency room that operates 24 hours a day to follow up on cases of cholera in Kosti locality.
