The clinics included (a doctor, a pharmacist, a laboratory technician, a midwife, and a psychologist). Medical services were provided in: Atbara River School Shelter Center for 105 patients, Food Security Shelter Center for 144 patients, Khaliwa area for 100 patients, Al-Maamoura area, Atbara locality, for 100 patients, Village 6, Al-Damer locality, for 166 patients, and Al-Nahda shelter center, for 166 patients., with support from the World Health Organization and coordination with the state Ministry of Health.
The Sudanese Red Crescent Society, River Nile state branch, organized mobile reproductive health clinics targeting six shelter centers for the displaced people and also targeted the host community in Atbara and Aldamer localities.
