According to the unit supervisor, Mr. Mohamed Hassan Mustafa, the planned program covers a period of three months. Distribution operations will continue throughout this month until the three months' entitlements for displaced people have been completed.
The Sudanese Red Crescent -Tawila unit, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, has begun distributing cash for various purposes to newly displaced people from Al Fasher. The distribution targets 8,000 families at a total of 400,000 Sudanese pounds per family per month.
